Asia Vehicle Rental Company Limited(AVR) was created in 1994. It was the first car rental company in Laos, focused on supplying international standard car rental services.

After a decade, AVR operated a joint venture with the RMA group, a company specialized on vehicle modifications. This synergy between both companies was coherent: the vehicles were working in hard condition(off road, mining, hydropower, agricultural works) and needed to be modified to guarantee their reliability.
